1. Eau de Parfum Essenza di Moda, Alberta Ferretti
Feminine, sensual and charming were the words Ferretti used to describe the woman her fragrance represents. “I also wanted to include some contrasts in my fragrance, so there is a fresh element too.” Claudia Schiffer is the face of Essenza di Moda : “...obviously, she is beautiful, and has been a successful model for some time. But she is also a businesswoman, a wife, and a mother – and she inhabits those roles in a very elegant way, which is why she is the right person to represent this fragrance”, explained Ferretti her choice.
The top notes of this perfume - which represent modernity- include freesia, pink pepper and Sicilian bergamot. These lead to a feminine, floral core, comprising layers of sweet pea, ylang heart and Casablanca lily. The sensual dry down includes patchouli and amber.
2. Eau de Parfum Idole, Giorgio ArmaniGiorgio Armani has created an opulent floral fragrance, the encounter of an inspiration from the Orient and timeless Italian elegance. The top is dazzling with bitter orange, juicy pear, ginger and davana notes.
At the heart, bright rose loukoum, the very own emblem of IDOLE d’ARMANI, and mythical jasmine with a shimmer of sunshine, blend boldly with saffron absolute, rare and delicately leathered, tinting this floral delight with a honey-coloured subtle spicy note.
At the base, luminous and sensual, unexpected styrax, patchouli and vetiver, at once refined and progressive, come to add their own harmony to the saffron heart of flowers, joining forces with the woman who wears it, without ever marking or dissimulating its character, melting into the skin of she who succumbs.
The image of this fragrance is former model and actress Kasia Smutniak.

3. Eau de Parfum Calamity J. Juliette Has a Gun
Calamity J. is a more masculine fragrance dedicated to women and it reflects their strong role in the society with strong musky notes. Romano Ricci did not want fruity or floral notes in this edition, but he focused on a woody-amber composition which reminds of dandy fragrances.
The new J is presented in a completely different way. It differs from the first three fragrances of the collection based on rose and from the spicy Midnight Oud, incorporating such notes as patchouli, iris, amber and a strong tact of musk in a base. The muse of this perfume is fashion icon Lou Doillon.
I`ve tested all three of them and my favorite is Idole d`Armani. I am curious what you think, have you tried them? Or do you have a favorite fragrance for this autumn?
In the next post I`ll let you know which perfume I`ve discovered and it became my favorite...
